Patient journeys

3 of 3 shown

Follow real-world treatment journeys over time.

Patient experiences are self-reported and are not clinical evidence. A journey shows what one person says happened to them, at which point in time, and where the account came from.

Patient experience

One person's own account. It can be honest and still be wrong about cause and effect: it has no control group, no blinding and no independent measurement.

Clinical evidence

Designed studies with defined endpoints, comparison groups and independent review. Only this feeds a Navigator Evidence Grade.

How journeys are handled

  • Never part of the Evidence Grade. Journeys may later inform a separate, descriptive Patient Experience Signal. They do not feed the clinical Evidence Grade, the Transparency Score or the Navigator Score, and they will not until there is enough data and there are anti-gaming controls in place.
  • No success score. Documentation completeness rewards structured, long-running, attributable records. It is not an outcome measure and a high number does not mean a good result.
  • Source and rights are always shown. Third-party posts are linked or officially embedded, never copied or re-hosted.
  • Privacy first. Coarse region and age band only. No exact locations, no dates of birth, no medical records. Journeys involving a minor require guardian consent before native submission.

Provider documentation lives on the comparison and profile pages, separately from patient experience.

Patient journeys are self-reported experiences. They are not clinical evidence, they are not verified outcomes, and they never affect a provider's Evidence Grade or Transparency Score.
